RE: What is it?

Hi Maddy, welcome to Gardenweb! Thanks so much for your picture and question. A few years ago a friend gave me a can with one of these beans in it and I've been wondering what it was ever since. It really did have that imprint on the cotyledon. After it sprouted in the can, I planted it at the base of one of the clothesline poles, full sun, and I ended up with a huge beautiful vine, dangling clusters of purple flowers, then really cool huge seed pods. I saved some but none of them ever sprouted, probably stored incorrectly.

In the future, feel free to start a new discussion for a new question to make sure it gets its' own attention. Have fun with your beans!
