| So I started up a new project to work on. It's getting warmer and everything is starting to bloom already. So as each thing starts to bloom I'm taking pictures and trying to find out what everything is and put them in a book. Along with that I'm also trying to find out the herbal use for each one if there is any. So names and herbals uses would be great. If better pictures are needed for ID please let me know so i can take and post another one. |

| second picture is Nandina third picture might be cotoneaster smothered in japanese honeysuckle. |
| 3rd is Pyracantha smothered in JP. No 1 is out of focus but may be Spiraea prunifolia |
| #1 looks like mock orange; #4 looks almost like a sparsely blooming Forsythia. Does #4 get a lot of sun? |
| Is #1 fragrant? |

| Here are some more plant photos, the site will only let me do one at a time so I had to do it this way so I could get all caught on my photos. The new stuff will be posted one at a time again. Thanks so much! |

| Berries, compound leaves, and color in the second photo look like Nandina (Heavenly Bamboo). |
| 0183 is Hedera helix 0203 is Hemerocallis 0204 is Hosta 0208 is Monarda 0214 is Mirabilis jalapa 0264 may be Helianthus 0265 may be Phlox but hard to see so could be Saponaria 0266 several plants in picture and indistinct. May be Liriope From the first batch I'm pretty sure no 2 is not Philadelphus (Mock Orange). It appears to be a fully double flower blooming on almost leafless stems. Although there are double MOs most are single and they all bloom on fully leafed out plants. |
| The Forsythia could be F suspensa. That has sparser flowers than x intermedia. |

| You can include more than one image if you include the img code directly into the body of your post. The photo sites, like picasa and others will give you the code or url to include. Though only 4-5 images per post is the best practice. More than that and your responses drop off - just like including a link to an album of pictures elsewhere. ;) For herbal usage, try Plants for a Future, pfaf.org. FataMorgana |

| Could the third one be a member of the Gaultheria family? |
| Double orange daylily, possibly 'Kwanso' |
| No 3 is definitely Pyracantha. The picture is less than clear because of the Lonicera climbing over it but you can see the typical Pyracantha leaves, thorns and berries clearly. |

| Daffodil! I miss those... |
| I still think the white shrub one is Spiraea prunifolia 'Plena'. The daffodil could be Ice Follies. |

| It's less confusing to give each plant its' own new discussion, at least for the people looking for plants they might be able to ID, but you are welcome to use this thing however you want. In this case, new comments might be added about the original set of plants and this could get extremely complicated. Of your new pics, #1 looks like a bulb, Scilla or grape Hyacinth, #2 looks like Arum italicum. #3 looks like Hibiscus syriacus AKA rose of Sharon. Is the 4th a shrub or vine? Adding your gardening zone and/or location to your profile so it shows up next to your name when you post will help people give you the most likely suggestions for ID'ing plants, and any other climate-related gardening advice. |
| #4 looks like a Rubus sp. |
| 1. is Muscari - Grape Hyacinth 2. is Arum italicum 3. is Hibiscus syriacus 4. Rubus sp. |
