| This is the largest tree on our property in Cape Coral, FL. It was collected by the previous owner who was an avid tropical plant cultivator. At this time there are no leaves on the tree but these seed pods are everywhere on the ground. The tree has no bark. We have been told that it was a Banyan (sp) (?). Could someone help us identify it more accurately as we would like to tag it in our garden. Thanks |

| That or Enterolobium cyclocarpum? To know for sure, open one of the pods and look at the shape of the seeds. |
Here is a link that might be useful: contortisiliquum or cyclocarpum?
