Please Help Me ID This Plant!

Hi! I'm new to GardenWeb, but I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify this plant. My mom gave it to me back in 2001, from a few pieces of cuttings she had rooted. It's made several moves with me, and a few weeks ago, my husband broke a piece off of it as he was reaching for something. I stuck it in a mason jar with some water, and I noticed it is beginning to root. I'm planning on giving it to a friend of mine, and was hoping I could actually tell her what it is. I've tried googling it without much success, so I'm hoping someone on here will be able to help me. I'm assuming there are two varieties in the pot, but I'm assuming they are the same type of plant. Thanks so much!!

The one on the left is an Aglaonema and the one on the right is a Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum),

I don't think the right hand one is a Spathiphyllum. That doesn't grow stems. The leaves grow directly from the base.

Thanks! I think they both might be Aglaonema. I didn't think Peace Lilies had segmented stems like bamboo. After looking at photos, I think they both are Aglaonema.

Thanks so much for your help! It's nice knowing what they are (after 12 years). :)
