One of my daughters brought this home from school one day and it is now flowering with a tiny but pretty flower. What is it?

It's Ledbouria socialis, silver squill. It is highly poisonous to pets.

Thanks, susanc! Good thing I keep it in a room where I don't let my cat go ... she chows down on some of the grassy type plants and then vomits all over the house!

Excellent shot of the flower details!
