| Recently, I purchased 2 ferns from a Home Depot store in Northern California. The tag on the pots simply read "asst. ferns." Nobody at the store could tell me the name of the ferns and I would like to order more. The stems are delicate and black in color with a leathery-feeling leaf. I would describe it as a Maidenhair fern on steroids, since the leaf size is so much broader than any maidenhair I've seen before. Both ferns are similar but not identical. Can you help me with an ID for both? |
