ID this bush/tree please

These are used in landscaping here in north Texas. Rough bark, tiny pale green felt like leaves. I have more pics available if needed. Thanks. These are about 5' to 6' high.

    L. frutescens is more likely as it's more cold hardy in Texas' climate.

    Thank you for your help. I thought sages were smaller. Here is a pic of the tree after digging up for transplanting in the back of my truck. The trunk was very thick so I wasn't sure if it was a sage.

    Leucophyllum frutescens is not actually a sage; Texas sage is just one of its common names. According to the below, it can get to be 8 feet tall by 8 feet wide.

    Thanks Susan. I was wondering why it didn't have the sage smell. It was oderless actually.
