What type plant is this?

I found this plant growing beside my porch.
I was wandering if it was a type of medicinal herb or just a weed that needs to be pulled.
I live in south east georgia.

I've never grown Rudbeckias but I'll take a stab at R fulgida. Someone (probably Carol23) will put me right pretty soon if necessary.

How about Leucanthemum x superbum?

paul1972, there's an itty-bitty seedling at the 6:00 position. I don't know what it's likely to be in SE GA, but if it were in my yard in WNC, it would be poison ivy. The dicotyledons are correct for poison ivy, and the first true leaves can be that shape when they're quite small.

I'd go with some kind of clumping goldenrod.
It's not Rudbeckia fulgida.

@ missingtheobvious that at 6 o clock position was poison ivy which was pulled right after picture was taken.
The big plant in the picture is growing right beside my back steps. we just moved into house about a month ago so I was wandering wether or not I needed to pull it up or leave it because it will have a pretty flower.

@ paul1972, I'm glad to learn you can recognize the little poison ivies. I've just about eradicated the PI I inherited from the Previous Owners, but seeds wash down from the neighbor above me. Many sprout in an area which is full of violets. PI dicotyledons and violet dicotyledons are just about identical.

If it's a clumping goldenrod then it is a pretty yellow flower in the fall and nice to have. Very good for pollinators and butterflies.
