Tubular flower with sturdy green leaves

I planted a bunch of this flower in my flower garden and they are blooming, but I have no idea what they are. They grow from a hairy round bulb. They have sturdy paper-like green leaves. The flower is two rows of tubular spaced flowers, each about half an inch or more apart. The top blossoms first with the top blossoms often falling off before the bottom blossoms even open. The stems are about 1/4-1/2 inch thick. The flowers are tubular bells that are about 1 1/2-2 inches long. They are thin, not much more than 1/4 inch in diameter.

The leaves are about one to one and a half inches wide. They are thin, but sturdy.

I have looked all over the internet for pictures of this flower with no luck. But I don't know much about flower names, so I'm sure I'm not looking for the right thing.

Thanks!

I described the blossoming backwards, sorry - they blossom at the bottom first, then towards the top...

Chasmanthe floribunda, AFRICAN FLAG.

How about watsonia fulgens?

Crocosmia?

Definitely looks like Crocosmia to me, too. The pattern of the leaves and the end of the inflorescence to the far right really look Crocosmia-like.

I think it is Chasmanthe. The flowers are more tubular. I think that the flowers of Crocosmia are more open with obvious "petals" (not to be too technical here! I don't know the proper names for the flower anatomy).

I think GG and FK are right.
