This is not a Pterospermum!

I bought what was sold as Pterospermum acerifolium seed from an ebay seller in the US three months ago. Now the seedlings have germinated and the leaves look nothing like those on photos of the plant I've seen. (The tree is also called the 'dinner plate tree' because the leaves are big and look like dinner plates.) I've also discovered that 'pterospermum' itself refers to the winged seeds of the plant. As you can see from my photos, the seeds aren't winged! I've emailed the seller but doubt that there will be a response.

To me, the seed and seedling look as if they belong to the cassia/senna/caesalpinia family. Any chance that anyone can better this (rough) guess? I'm worried that the only way to find out is to keep the thing growing until it flowers, but that could take years. And what are the chances that it's something I'd actually like?
