| Hey fellas, Picked up what I believe is some kind of gesneriad yesterday at a plant sale at the campus library. Variegated leaves - green with pale veins and purple undersides; pink salverform flowers. Leaves are starting to wrinkle and curl into "canoe" shapes today. Discoloring/mottling of the leaves too. They were a deep consistent green yesterday, and today there are splotches of very dark purple showing through. Can anyone take a crack at it? |

| The variegation reminds me of Ruellia makoyana. |
