| Can anyone ID this small potted plant I was given? Trying to find out what temperature to keep it at. I live in Seattle. Sorry that it's sideways! |

| its an indoor houseplant ... if you like the temp.. it will.. if you were in a colder zone.. i might warn you about a cold window at night.. but that isnt a z8 concern ... ken |

| Hi & welcome to Gardenweb! D. marginata 'tricolor'. Lots of discussions about them in house plant forum. This plant is more sensitive about water chemicals than temp, as long as you're comfortable like Ken said. |

| i was sick.. i forgot the name.. lol ... i gave up on clay pots.. found them impossible to use in the house. ... they wick too much water out of the media.. so you tend to over water.. and a vicious cycle begins... if you are a newbie to houseplants.. i would suggest a plastic pot with a drain hole ... same size for now ... ken |
