Beautiful colored flower which was right next to some dandelion-type plants with yellow flowers (Compositae member of some sort)

Crepis may be the yellow flowered plants.

Hi Jaynine and Carol
Spot on in ID'ing both plants! What a shame they are not native. they were scattered in a few places in Cape Breton.
