| I've been all over the web trying to ID this guy. I'm not sure if its a shrub or tree. It is similar to manzanita, but not quite right. I live an hour northwest of Houston. |

| Thank you, but no. It's not clear in the previous photo how tiny the leaves on this plant are. It is more like a cedar with smooth red bark, but the leaves are too flat to be evergreen leaves. |
