| Hello this plant was found in the foothills of mexico city in full sun and in 3 years i have never gotten it to bloom. It has white flowers that almost resemble a star. Can anyone tell me what it is?? |

| thats a lot of plant.. in a small shallow pot the withering leaves tend to suggest a water problem ... maybe ken |

| I'm sure this is a bromeliad. It loves shade and many water. Please don't treat it like a cacti. |

| I am probably wrong- but it reminds me of one of those corn plants. Not the vegetable-- the one that turns into a tropical tree. But I can see it could be a bromeliad too. |

| It looks like a crinum lily I have. Mine took over three years to bloom after being transplanted. |

| Looks a little like a Pregnant Onion. Any above ground bulb? Hard to tell from these pix. |

| Maybe it is a Hymenocallis, spider lily. There are quite a few that are native to Mexico. -Here is Hymenocallis riparia |
