Does anyone know what this could be?

This plant has been growing in my garden for about three years, and if I didn't keep cutting it down to the ground each year would grow into a monster! It gets to about 1 1/2 metres high a year, and has round bell shaped yellow flowers in summer.
Does anyone know what it is? Thanks!
