Not much to go on, there is a great number of kinds. But all will want it warm and bright, with more water during the summer than during the winter.

The main chronic issue with growing desert succulents under ordinary indoor conditions is inadequate light.

On the left is a Parodia (Notocactus) uebelmanniaus, middle ???Cephalocereus????, on the right is an Euphorbia possibly a horrida cultivar and NOT a cactus.

Just a note: cacti is plural of cactus.

if this isn't the cacti and its a euphorbia, I think only way I personally would Test is to see if it leaks the white sap (latex)

The last one looks very dry, with the shrunken potting medium pulling away from the pot walls.

I think your Euphorbia may be Euphorbia enopla.

Here is a link that might be useful: Euphorbia enopla.

RE: what 3 cacti are these?

the top layer is dry but it's moist underneath

and roots are white and fleshy not dry. so I don't thing it's bad.

and I have now 60 different cacti from jungle pitaya (hyreous undatus) to detest cacti (I aim to have at least one from each genus and country)

I also have a 125watt grow light on 12hrs a day

RE: what 3 cacti are these?

thank you for the euphorbia name, and I now believe you're correct susanc

am I right on thinking euphorbias like moist not wet soil like jungle cacti?
