New to gardening, inherited the following

Hi All. I'm new to gardening and after purchasing my first home, I found these plants (in pots) in the garden. I'm not sure what they are or if they flower etc. so was hoping someone could help please! :)

Nr2: the bud looks like some Camelia, unhappy, somewhat starving,
Nr 3: some rose, flowers should appear soon, so you can see whether you like it.

Thanks Lin!

The soil for nr 2 (camelia) is very compact. It seems as though the pot is full of root. Could you advise what the best course of action would be to tackle that?

The Camellia needs to be repotted in to Ericaceous compost (you'll find it at the garden centre. Or if you live in an area with acidic soil it can go into the ground.

No 1 looks like Jasminum humile 'Revolutum'
No 2 is a sad Camellia
No 3 is a rose.

All would be happier in the ground than in those pots, bearing in mind the proviso that the Camellia does not like alkaline soil.

they will do much better in mother earth ...

even you should be able to see.. that they have gotten way to big for the rather small pots ....
