Can you provide asssitance in identiing this thing growing in my yard. I have several of them popping up in my yard this year.

I just realized you didn't mean the green plant. I was looking for the answer because I have that one in my yard too.

Thanks PlantWizard. Now, any tips on how to kill these mushrooms and keep them from spreading?

Removing them will reduce the spreading to new areas,
however the original mycelia may cover several sq. yards.
In any event they are harmless unless you're allergic.

so then when you step on them it blows out alot of brown dust is that what those do.
