I think lime #2 is Citrus hystrix, Kaffir lime.

P.S. Citrus trees are heavy feeders, so if you are not fertilizing your trees, that may be why they are not blooming. If you aren't feeding them currently, invest in a citrus tree fertilizer and feed per instructions.

Thanks! I have been fertilizing, but having a fertilizer for citrus trees will probably help with my limes and also the lemons I have. Also thank you for the link. The leaves do have a similar shape, but maybe not so close because my lime tree is smaller. Thank you again:)

This is a little off post buy i felt compelled to ask.
Why do limes cost so much? I bought ONE lime two months ago from the grocery store and I paid just under a dollar for it.
I'm not talking about a fancy store either, just a common variety grocery store.
If there was a market were I live for limes, it would almost pay to try and greenhouse grow them.

I have been recently looking at my citrus tree's a lot and I think that #2 is "Rio Red" Blood Orange. #1 I don't think is a lime⦠and actually an Italian lemon⦠the new growth on my tree looks exactly like that.

If the first one was raised from seed it won't necessarily belong to any particular clonal cultivar, except where a cultivar or other specific name is used for a seed strain or other assemblage larger than a clonal cultivar.

Leaves of small specimens will not really be adequate to narrow it down to particular kinds, you will be in a much better position to compare them with other citrus when they fruit.
