Purple Wildflower. What is it?

This flower is so pretty, but it's just a spring bloomer. Anyone know what it is?

Sorry I couldn't get closer. Very rocky and I just saw my first snake of 2014, so caution is key!

Phacelia minor more likely in Alta California.

I have seen that Phacelia minor along our road, but this one appears more like Ruellia Californica. I'll try to get closer shots today.
