i would suggest the annual/perennial forums .. we are always looking for new converts over there ....

and i suggest.. when you get there.. on the odd chance someone local sees your post .. that you tell them where you are... for nursery recommendations.. though that doesnt seem to work well on the world wide web ...

seeds or plants??? .. that is up to you ... and the bottom line is usually based on your level of instant gratification .. can you wait the extra month or so.. for seedlings to bloom ...

Torenia is a standard annual available in spring. You should see some in stores soon.
