Woody stem, pink spring flowers?

I'm not great with identifying shrubs. I thought it was a spirea but I think the leaves are too small.

Thanks! I kept thinking that was it but the smallness of the leaves had me thinking I was wrong.

The first year I had this plant, it was still very herbaceous, so I had identified it as probably be catmint. But a few years later, it started to get the woody look and finally saw it at a local store also and realized it was a spiraea. I like it because you can cut it way down and it will still come back like champ (even cutting it in the same growing season)

I'm loving it too and now that I know what it is for sure I'm not afraid to go whacking at it. It got a really good pruning yesterday. Now to identify more shrubs! The house I bought came with a lot of already planted things that I have been slowly identifying. Hopefully will get the last of them soon.
