| There don't appear to be any leaves yet, and there are clusters of flowers or seeds which are light brown. Picture taken March 12 in St. Louis. |

| I thought Ailanthus as well. There were trees in PA that at winter's end were loaded with the brown seed pods as shown in the photo. |
