Chionodoxa luciliae - Glory of the Snow.

Chionodoxa anyway - not sure it is that particular one.

Guess what, I just did a web search on Chionodoxa species and came across a very geeky paper in German on Chionodoxa,a "dichotomous key"?

It seems that C luciliae has a rather wahsy white center,
if it is well defined and the flower very blue, it points to C forbesii.

BUT they mention also that C forbesii does not multiply/ prosper very well in gardens, so the true species seems to be very seldom on offer.

Where did you find them?

Oh, and if the white part is rather 1/3 of the flower`s diameter, that would lead to C nana (C forbesii should ave a 1/5 of he diameter with white, go figure...) which is somewhat smaller than forbesii

We moved into a house during the winter. It has a large amount of established garden areas. Most flowers are growing in multiple areas around the house, but this one is growing in a single bunch right beside the house between it and the vegetable garden. Its on the western side of the house, so it would mostly get some mid and late noon/evening sun.
