Does anyone know what type of fern this is?

Christmas fern. Polystichum acrosticoides.

Doesn't quite look like christmas fern to me. Appears the fronds might be more than once pinnate. Would help to see a whole frond by itself (removed at ground level), both front and back.

Fairly certain that the second set of photos are of a totally different fern.

Exact same fern. I promise. Unless my front steps moved and planted itself next to a different fern. Dryopteris erythrosora...I think so.... Thank you!
