It's some sort of Philodendron. If any of the trunks have aerial roots that have embedded in the earth you could probably use those to make new plants with. I think it would prefer a shaded area if you replanted it.

Is it possible to cut one of the large trunks and replant/pot it?

Air layering (partially cutting a stem, then wrapping and packing the cut with sphagnum moss until roots form) is more successful than trying to root large trunks. But these plants are plentiful and relatively inexpensive at nurseries. I'd just buy a new one myself.

You could probably cut the stem into two-foot sections and bury those 6" down in the sand - in shade. They'll likely root and grow. Cut off most of the leaves except newest ones.

You can also start these in pots of potting soil in the shade, let them grow a while, then transplant after they form a good root system.

I have started them in my basement over winter this way.

But they are likely very inexpensive at your local Home Depot/Lowes.
