Although Poison Ivy doesn't grow in Britain and I have never seen it as a seedling, I believe that's what this is. Toxicodendron radicans

Yes, looks like Poison ivy. It's always very glossy in spring.

A beautiful plant and extremely vigorous with many different forms - can you imagine the zillions of cultivars they could make? Too bad poison ivy is so unfriendly to us!
