type of plum or cherry tree

Cat_O

Hi!

This tree spontaneously appeared in a raised garden bed several years ago and I never got around to removing it. This is the first time it has flowered (late April) so I've never seen fruit, but it seems like it has characteristics of both a cherry tree (horizontal markings on the bark) and a plum tree (smooth petals and unrolling leaves). It's currently 10-12' tall. I'm not aware of any similar trees in the neighborhood. Link to picture of bark at the bottom. Any thoughts?

Thanks!
