Connecticut wildflower (a good one, I hope?!)

I'm sure I should know what this is, but I don't ... and there are TONS of them coming up along the border between my yard and the natural woodlands just beyond the yard. It's an area where we get lots of goldenrod, Queen Anne's lace, Dame's Rocket (I know, pull it up), etc. later in the summer, but I don't recall noticing these plants in previous springs.

The stems are quite hairy, the whole plant is about 7-10 inches tall at the moment. Looks as if it will bloom shortly (flower stem rising from the center). I'll be able to figure out what it is then, I presume, but if it's something I should be getting rid of, now is the time!

Thanks for any info.
