Hi,

Does anyone know the name of this plant?

The leaves are fragrant especially when rubbed.

Thanks!

Looks like a Lavender, maybe a young Lavendula dentata. Is this from the same source as your other mystery plant? If so it makes an Artemisia even more likely. Both drought resistant Mediterranean aromatic herbs.

That really does look like a lavender, especially with the "toothy" leaves.

I was growing Allard's lavander (Lavandula x allardi) which appears identical to this specimen.

That's quite possible tedhort. L. allardii is thought to be a cross between L. latifolia and L. dentata. But is it available in Egypt or is the species more likely?

It's indeed Lavandula x Allardii!

flora_uk, I got this and the "mystery" plant from a flea market. I also bought other herbs from there like Basil, Mint, Thyme and Rosemary.

Thanks to all of you for your great help.
