some blue wildflower

Hi everybody,

I guess it's south american native, but not sure. It grows in arid hill zones. Blooms have some kind of green threads like sepals.

Not that one but definitely has the look of the family.

Someone identified it as Justicia squarrosa. It matches zone and aspects. Thanks.
