The last week and a half this plant has been showing through the ground litter in woods along Bull Run, Fairfax County, VA. Please, what is it?

    We're too new to Virginia to be sure, but will keep an eye on the plants in coming weeks. Online images of bluebells show longer stalks than what we're seeing on these plants so far. Attached photo is an update from April 6.
