Evergreen and yellow blooming bush (pic heavy)

It smells wonderful!

Just purchased the property this winter and this bush is an evergreen. Blooms yellow and it smells wonderful!

I am sure this is going to be an easy one for the most you guys on here.

Stands about 6 to 7 feet tall, about 5 feet wide.

I believe it's some type of Berberis.

Looks like a Berberis gagnepainii or hybrid?
