I'm sure it's a weed, but anyone know the name?

    Looks like garlic pennycress, Thlaspi alliaceum, an up-and-coming weed. It can spread very rapidly. If that's what it is, the crushed foliage should smell vaguely like garlic. I don't think you will find it in any field guide, but as the saying goes "you can look it up on line"..

    the supreme macro close up.. without a scale makes understanding size.. very hard ... ken

    Mustard family, anyway. For better results, show the whole plant, including the basal leaves.
