Looks like Cannas.

Yes looks like canna lilies. I did remove a bunch of them from my yard, since I thought at the time they were in the wrong spot. But good thing about cannas is that they transplant pretty easily so even if you don't want them there, just carefully dig up the tubers and transplant to another location or give away.

However, you could give it a season first, to see if you decide that you like the colors of the flowers or their growth habits (short, medium, tall, all over the house or only in some sections, etc)
