What is vertical lance leaf plant in north Texas?

Know I've seen this mentioned somewhere before, but not luck tracking it down. Appreciate any help.

After taking a closer look, agree it probably is an second year peach seedling planted by squirrel in the loose fill from a stump removed just over a year ago. Must have missed it because space is enveloped in large Turk's Caps most of the year. Thought growth was all new this spring, so was expecting something else, like ironweed. Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes - peach seedling was my first thought.
