Plant ID, maybe syngonium??

I got this plant a few weeks ago, and it was unlabelled.
A few days ago I saw a picture of a plant that looked pretty similar, and the owner of the photo said it was a syngonium white butterfly, but I wanted to double check if that was true?
I believe it needs repotting (roots are starting to grow out of the drainage holes in the bottom of the pot), so I want to know what it is so that I can care for it correctly.
