any scent ? looks a bit like Agastache

no scent.

Hi MilaSan - I don't know what the plant is and I have never grown any Agastaches, so I can't comment on that id.

But I wanted to mention something about looking up plant names. The picture you found is of Agastache parvifolia, a native species in the US and not particularly common. When you look up a plant you need both its Genus e.g. Agastache (capital letter) and its Species name e.g. parvifolia (small letter) . Plants within the same genus can vary widely in appearance so you need to know both parts of its name when you search for it.

Many garden plants are not species but have been produced over the years by hybridisation, either intentional or accidental, and they have no species name. Just a Genus and a cultivar name. e.g. Agastache 'Golden Jubilee.'

and i will add to flora ... that the first two lain names will give you everything you need as to cultural requirements... how to grow it ... just google the latin and add 'plant culture' ... and you will be all set ...

such does not change due to it being a 'named variety' ....

the names are for peeps who like to collect plants... they want e.g. the yellow one named 'bobby'.. the red one named 'sue' [after a boy no less] ... and the orange one.. etc ...

i have been meaning to say ... some of your straight down pix make it very hard to ID the plant.;..

if you revisit some of these plants later in the season.. when they bloom... try to avoid such.. and throw in a scale... anything we might recognize.. for us to understand size ...
