I planted this bush 4 yrs ago. I don't remember what kind of plant it is. I have bought a house and would like to take the bush with me but am afraid it might die. Can you tell me what kind of bush it is? I was told this will make a difference whether it can be moved successfully or not.
Thanks!

I believe it's a tree mallow, Lavatera. You could move it but they are fairly short lived and it might be easier to grow more from cuttings and put them where you want them. If you want to move it because it is too big it will tolerate cutting back.

If that's what it is (haven't seen the pictures) it shouldn't be very expensive to buy and plant another at the new place.
