hey!!! .. just a day or two ago.. i was trying to recall that woman who grew stuff in canal sludge ... where the heck you been????

i doubt that z3 mid MI claim ... since bay city is nearly a 6 .. the whole saginaw bay area ... is rather temperate ...

but after this winter... i am sure they are convinced it was the north pole... lol

Yes, looks like Amelanchier, also known as Serviceberry.

Definitely an Amelanchier. In the past experts have not agreed on how to divide the genus up.

Ken~ I've been around. I pop in and "lurk" now and then. We took quite a hit with White Footed Ants and aphids and lubbers these past 12 months. And now it seems we have Sapsuckers attacking all of our Loquat trees, so I have been "circling the wagons" as far as the yard goes. I'm sure you're right about my friend's zone claim, I just quoted him and didn't look it up myself. I've stopped using the sludge... thought you'd be proud to know.
