Unknown Annual Flower - Hummingbirds Love It

Hello!

I was recently visiting my aunt in Arkansas and she gave me some cuttings of an unknown plant. She found it a few years ago somewhere and broke off a piece, grew the cutting, and now has 4-5 HUGE bushes of it and hummingbirds flock to it. It has grown well in full sun and partial-shade for her.

When you rub the leaves you get a very pungent smell, its pleasant but hard to describe. The leaves/flowers leave a slightly sticky feeling on your finger.

I promised her I'd try to help her identify this plant!

Salvia

There should be some in that color range that are marginally perennial in Z8a, although I did lose 4 of 5 in my own Z8 to a out-of-ordinary cold snap last winter.
