Wildflower ID?

Posted by smarmyclothes 6a Kalamazoo, MI (My Page) on

I'm curious what this white flower is that's blooming with the coneflowers- it was taken in August in Michigan, if it helps to know the bloom time.

The closest I've been able to find was Veronicastrum virginicum, but it's not quite right. The flower shape and form are wrong.

Thanks in advance for any help!
