Neighbor gave me this for ID. Leaves are hairy.
She wants to know if it's edible.

Paulownia tomentosa....Empress tree, Princess tree, royal paulownia, etc.

I should have asked to see the plant. Thanks for setting me straight on this. She said all the leaves were growing low to the ground so I had no clue it was a tree. Maybe they mowed over it.

I think it's a young Burdock leaf.

Yeah, looks like burdock, Arctium sp., to me. Young stems are edible but you have to peel them and cook them, a lot of work.

Burdock, definitely. Not what I'd call "edible" but supposedly has medicinal uses.
