I've got this wonderful bush in my yard and everyone who visits asks "What is it" ... It was here when i bought the place and i need a name ! I'm in TN and it looses all leaves during the winter. Leaf color is kind of purple, flowers resemble queen annes lace.

Going by the flowers probably Sambucus nigra, elder.
There are garden cultivars with narrow foliage ( S nigra Dissectum or something), anothet one is Black Lace, with red and narrow foliage. Is it in full sun?

Yes that looks like 'Black Lace.'

The Black Laces I know have pink flowers. But certainly a cut-leaved cultivar of Sambucus nigra.

Well I was thinking that the lack of "pinkness" was just a factor of the photograph.

Could be.

Hmmm, the flowers are white, but the foliage looks like what i've found. I've also never seen fruit, but i do have a lot of birds and they might get them. When should the fruit be visible in zone 7 ?
