I came across this beautiful big shrub here in my condo complex yesterday. The intense smell is very reminiscent of a lilac, but the bush itself (which is about 8 ft tall) looks nothing like a lilac .. nor do the flowers really.

To me, the leaves and flowers look a bit more like a hydrangea as does the shape of the shrub itself.

I would absolutely love to know what this is so that I could order one to plant in my courtyard.
