Small Shrub with Berries

Hi, folks

The University of Minnesota recently planted a couple of rows of these attractive hardy shrubs. They're short, between two and three feet in height, with light green, small, roundish leaves and striking red berries in the fall. I realize it may be difficult to make an ID at this point, since they've yet to leaf out (spring is quite late here), but I'd appreciate any suggestions I could follow up on.

Thanks,
Gary

P.S. OK, I see that the photo is sideways. Clicking it turns it right side up. How to get it right in the first place? Anyone know?

In the flurry of ID questions this dropped to page 3 in short order. I hope folks don't mind if I bump it up. I'd really like to get some ideas on it, if possible.
    Thanks.

The picture is so blurry. All I can really see is that it has alternate leaf arrangement.

Post back when you have some pictures of new leaves. You could also open up one the berries and see what the seed looks like.
