The red leaves and canes look like roses, but I don't see any thorns??

I see two different plants - the vine with red foliage & the low-growing green foliage plant.

Green could be a Geranium.

The vine could be Virginia creeper - a closeup of the foliage might be helpful.

I see a rose - 100% sure on that one.
Plus a putative anemone.

Thank you all.

You have all been truly generous with you time and information.

1) I'll take a photo of it tomorrow and repost.
2) there are actually 3 plants there and I don't recognize any of them. However, this must be some type of thornless rose?
3) Do you recognize the last plant in this photo?

Not sure what you are referring to as the 3rd plant. Can you clear away some of the debris so we can see the 3 plants you can see?
