It doesn't look like the seedlings of my annual bread seed poppies. I don't know about perennial poppies' seedlings.

Here's another pic of it a week later. I did scatter some oriental poppy seeds around that area but I am not sure since I have so many weeds everywhere!

My oriental poppies have more jagged, pointed leaves but they are much older, too. Did you plant anything else from seed? Better to leave it a bit longer in my opinion just to be safe. :)

hmmm, this looks a lot like Turkish poppies - p.spicata, especially those downy leaves.
