I have another plant I'm not sure what it is.

Looks like the corn family. Some sort of ornamental millet? Is there any flower or plume forming?

Looks just like my colchicum byzantium leaves. If its a colchicum, the leaves will die off without it flowering, and the bloom comes in the early fall without any leaves.

No flowering yet.

Clearly a bulb rather than a grass. Colchicum is a fair bet. Mark the place because the leaves will disappear as geoforce says.

I thought it looks like Colchium foliage as well. The flowers are shaped like crocus, but are larger in shades of pink, lavendar-pink, or white. Mine bloom in September.
